When a fault involves the sealed refrigeration circuit, our services include compressor replacement, leak detection and repair, and work on systems using R600a or R134a. The refrigerant and repair method must match the appliance.
Your diagnostic visit is $85. That fee is credited toward the cost of your repair. The final repair cost depends on the fault, parts and work required; a compressor problem cannot be confirmed from symptoms alone.
Before the visit, have the brand and model number ready and note when the problem began. Tell us about error codes, unusual sounds, recent repairs and whether the freezer is still cooling.
